My kids love to play Superhero so when I got this set they were thrilled, even my three year old son. The costumes go on right over their clothes and tie in the back. The kids have a lot of fun running around playing. I've washed the costumes several times and they've held up in the washer and dryer so I'm very happy with their durability. This was a big hit with my granddaughter, who loves to dress up as a princess. Both of her parents are theater professionals, so she has a whole wardrobe trunk full of costumes. It was beautifully made -- much better quality and construction than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I would say this costume fits a size 4 better than a size 6 -- it was a tiny bit short on my 4-year-old granddaughter. Glad I found this one!

When I saw this item on Amazon, I thought how very cute it was. It is cute but the quality of most of the items in the set leaves a lot to be desired. It is very overpriced for the quality. One of the shoes fell apart about five minutes after our granddaughter (age 4) wore it -- the little tutu began losing the sequin flowers about two days after receiving it. Very disappointing to realize that I overpaid for this set. I contacted Amazon and they said they are Sorry -- so am I!!!
